Supporters were asked if they love, hate or are indifferent on both sides of the division
Chelsea are the most hated team in the Premier League, according to a fan poll.
The fans were asked if they love, hate or are indifferent to any club in the top English league – and the results were nothing short of interesting.
Every vote in favor of the three different categories was evaluated in the same way – and without much surprise, Chelsea took the first place.
The West London club has become one of the most successful clubs of this century thanks to the huge influx of Roman Abramovich's money.
Leeds passes to second place while Sheffield United loses, while Bolton wins for QPR in difficulty
However, they also became unpopular due to some unpleasant incidences of racism by some of their fans – even at the start of this season when Raheem Sterling was abused at Stamford Bridge.
The result was close to the top, with Manchester United (68.1%) taking second place on the list with just 0.6% less than the Blues (68.7%).
Liverpool is considered the third most hated team (52.8%), while West Ham (47.6%) and Arsenal (46.2%) complete the top five.
