Peter Crouch was among the promoters on the day of the deadline, when he completed a return to the Premier League to join Burnley.

The former England striker, 38, has signed a short-term contract with Sean Dyche's men in an agreement that saw the international Wales Sam Vokes move on from the other side in Stoke City.

Vokes, 29, has signed a three and a half year contract with the championship Potter.


Crystal Palace has concluded a loan agreement for Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi.
