Paris Saint-Germain is planning to set a deadline to sell Neymar this summer, according to ESPN FC.
The potential transfer of the Brazilian superstar has become a frustrating saga for the PSG team and for the club this season. The sources say that no decision has been taken, but there have been internal discussions on the interruption of all forms of negotiation with Barcelona, Real Madrid or any other club interested at a given date.

– When does the transfer window close?
There are 12 days to the end of the European transfer window and PSG has not yet reached an agreement for Neymar, who wants to leave the club this summer.
However, with the goal of focusing on the season and reintegrating Neymar into the first team, the PSG could declare the door closed to move away.
Sources told ESPN FC that, contrary to recent reports in France, PSG has not yet received a concrete offer from Real Madrid. Reportedly, Juventus is interested in having Neymar, but in the same way it has not formally presented an agreement to the sports director of PSG Leonardo, sources confirmed at ESPN FC.
On the other hand, Leonardo refused two offers from Barcelona. The first offer of Philippe Coutinho and Ivan Rakitic plus € 80 million was rejected last week. And Barca's latest offer – a loan that includes a payment to PSG and the obligation to buy Neymar next summer for a total cost of € 190 million – was rejected at the beginning of this week.
Sources say the PSG hierarchy is not sure of Barcelona's ambitions, and privately questioned the desire of the Catalan club to reach an agreement, with the belief that Barcelona can afford to bring Neymar back to the Camp Nou. The French champions want to recover most of the 222 million euros they spent on signing international Brazil two years ago. And sources say they believe they are in a strong position to negotiate because it was never their intention to sell Neymar, which is under contract until the summer of 2022.
Barcelona remains passionate about Neymar as it sees its signature as "strategic" and is expected to return to the negotiating table with a new offer in the coming days.
The president of the boat Josep Maria Bartomeu is on vacation in Spain, but keeps the negotiations under strict control. He wants Neymar to return to the Camp Nou and maintain contact with the entourage of the former Santos man while preparing his next offer.
The Catalan club, however, was waiting for Neymar to make a public statement of its intentions to return to the club and, privately, the club hierarchy is considering how far they can go with an offer that will be attractive to PSG and will not significantly harm the club economically.
