The Juventus star admits he has never been to dinner with his Barcelona rival, but he would have no problem doing so in the future
Cristiano Ronaldo admitted that both he and Lionel Messi benefited from their long rivalry.
Ronaldo and Messi have been at the top of this sport for more than a decade, winning 10 consecutive Gold Balls before the end of their race with Luka Modric who won the first individual award in 2018.
The couple was also the protagonist of La Liga for almost a decade, with Ronaldo starring in Real Madrid between 2009 and 2018 before moving to Juventus.

In that time frame Barcelona claimed six league victories against the two of the Madrid, while Ronaldo and the club were ahead in Europe with four crowns of the Champions League against the two won by Messi's team, even though the Barca had claimed a victory in the final against Ronaldo's Manchester United before the Portuguese star making the leap to Spain.
Everything was for a fierce rivalry, but Ronaldo says that there is a lot of admiration between the two and he believes that both players understand that they helped each other to reach record heights.
"I really admire the career he has had so far and, for his part, he has already said that he had problems when I left the Spanish championship because it is a rivalry that he appreciates", said Juve's striker to the Portuguese channel TVI.
"It's a good rivalry that exists in football, but this is no exception. Michael Jordan had rivals in basketball, Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost were great rivals in Formula 1, the only common point among all the great rivalries in sport is who are healthy.
"Messi makes me a better player and vice versa"
And, while the rivalry between the two superstars was often seen as irascible, Ronaldo classified it as "excellent" and says he would have no problem sitting down to dinner with Messi at some point in the future.
"I have an excellent professional relationship with Messi because we have been sharing the same moments for 15 years," he said.
"I've never been to dinner with him, but why not in the future? I would have no problem doing it."
