Manchester City's tweet about Frank Lampard didn't go too well with Chelsea.
Today marks the anniversary of Lampard's last match in the Premier League. He finished his career in England with Manchester City and marked his last appearance on these shores.
The legendary midfielder scored in City-Two-Nil's victory over Southampton in 2015.
The city recalled its goal by tweeting on social media and talking to Chelsea fans.
"A goodbye goal for Frank Lampard", he wrote the official account of the city, adding "Legend of the city" accompanied by emoji eyes.
The attempt by the Blues has irritated many Chelsea supporters. Here's how they reacted:
Lampard moved to the city in 2014 and played 32 top games, scoring six league goals including a strike against his former Chelsea team.
But he failed to win any piece of silverware.
Obviously, he left England to join Major League Soccer before retiring to New York City FC.
