Copa del Rey – Levante vs Barcelona A slow start was the difference
Barcelona fell behind early Levante in their Copa del Rey defeat on Thursday night, however Sergio Busquets was glad that the tie was still open.
A Philippe Coutinho penalty halved the shortage to leave Barcelona with a lot of hope for the return journey in Camp Nou.
"The badger is still alive because of it Coutinhothe goal and the team deserve it for the second half, " Busquets said after the game.
"In the first half we slept and benefited from it.
"They had us on the ropes with two goals, but we still had opportunities in the first half."
Coutinho recently lost his spot Ernesto Valverde& # 39; s starting line-up Busquets believes that he has a role to play this season.
"We all want to play and there is tough competition," he said.
"There are a lot on the midfield but there are only three positions to fill in.
"It's hard to get in if you do not play normally because you lack confidence and rhythm, but I think Philippe will help us this season."
Barcelona are determined to continue and win the cup while continuing to challenge on all fronts.
"We are going to fight in all competitions.
"[Copa del Rey] was an important competition for Barcelona.
"It is a difficult month with a demanding schedule, but you sometimes have to give players a break."
