As the PSG hopes to reject the interest of Man City in Kylian Mbappé

Paris Saint-Germain is ready to offer Kylian Mbappé a new contract that would make him the highest paid player in the club.

This is according to the Spanish outlet El Pais, which reports that PSG will offer Mbappé a new five-year deal that is very profitable among the rumors linking it to a transfer to Manchester City.

Last week, reports in Spain stated that the 20-year-old is anxious to work with city chief Pep Guardiola in the future.

The winner of the World Cup is under contract at the Parc des Princes until 2022, but he is reportedly willing to stay in the Spanish capital for another season before assessing his options in the summer of 2020.

However, with Neymar probably leaving PSG this summer, the Ligue 1 champions are apparently ready to gather all their resources to make sure that Mbappé remains in the game.

Currently Neymar earns about € 30 million a year and with these wages removed from the account, they will offer Mbappé a new deal worth € 50 million a year.

The French striker has been a revelation since he entered the scene in Monaco in the 2016/17 season.

He joined PSG in the summer of 2017 in a deal worth € 135 million and has so far scored 60 goals in 87 appearances for the team.
