Manchester United midfielder Ander Herrera said the club "doesn't think the same" when it comes to an extension of the Old Trafford contract.
Herrera's contract will expire at the end of the campaign, which means the Red Devils could lose it for free.
Speaking of a possible renewal, the united man said he is not yet close to securing an extension and admitted that he would be available to listen to other club offers, ABC (H / t Charlotte Duncker of the Manchester Evening News):
"I want to beat Barcelona [on Wednesday] and think about football. It is true that I only have a two-month contract, and today Manchester United and I do not think the same and there is no renewal agreement, but my duty is to continue listening to United. …
"I will listen to United, of course, but also to other clubs, I will not close the doors."
Given his current contractual situation, it is no surprise to see the clubs linked to a move for the Spanish national team.
Second Duncan Castles of the Daily recordUnited are ready to lose Herrera in Paris Saint-Germain with a free transfer at the end of the season.
Eduardo Fernandez-Abascal from ESPN FC wrote that Herrera is "seriously considering" a proposal from the French club.
According to football director Jon Birchall, the Red Devils fan base is divided as to whether the club should do everything it can to keep Herrera:

What is the main topic that fans of your club share on Twitter? I guess Liverpool is Henderson? Will United be worth a new contract? Rather like opinions violently supported on football. Makes the world easier.
If Herrera were to leave Old Trafford it would be a blow, as he established himself as a regular in the first team during his five years in Manchester. United fans have taken it into consideration, as the 29-year-old has recorded the ball with intensity and aggression.
With these features in mind, he was able to offer a nice foil for players of the caliber of Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic in central midfield.
During his time in English football, Herrera showed an insatiable appetite for tackles:

Football writer Liam Canning thinks the Red Devils make a mistake if they don't renew Herrera's contract:

If Manchester United let Ander Herrera go, he made a big mistake. He will not find another CM with the same desire and passion for the club as he.
With Solskjaer at the helm and apparently eager to give young players the chance, getting a 29-year-old tied to lucrative salaries may not be at the top of the manager's priority list.
Even so, given the continuing speculation that links Pogba to a move real Madrid, United could benefit from having a reliable and determined operator like Herrera around for much longer. The decision is one of the important ones that the club has to make during the first summer of Solskjaer.
