Aaron Ramsey thanked the fans of Arsenal for their "extremely loyal" support after confirming that they will join Juventus this summer.
Ramsey will go to Turin at the end of the season, after 11 years with the Gunners.
During his stay in North London, the international team of Wales suffered a career-related break in 2011, returning to becoming an extremely influential figure in the club, scoring two goals in the FA Cup in 2014 and 2017.
In a statement posted on Instagram, Ramsey wrote: "As you may have heard, I have agreed a pre-contract with Juventus and I wanted to make a personal statement for all Arsenal fans who were extremely loyal and supportive.
"You welcomed me as a teenager and I was there for me through all the ups and downs I encountered during my time at the club.
"It is with a heavy heart that I leave Arsenal after 11 incredible years in the north of London.
"I will continue to give 100% to the team and I hope to finish the season strongly, before heading to my next chapter in Turin."
Ramsey is preparing to earn a staggering £ 400,000 a week before tax after finally agreeing to join Juventus.
Meanwhile, Arsenal paid homage to the former young Cardiff.
"Everyone at Arsenal Football Club wishes Aaron Ramsey a happy and successful future.
"Aaron has made a tremendous contribution to our club since he arrived in Cardiff City in 2008. He has always been a complete professional and will always have a special place in the hearts and memories of Arsenal fans all over the world.
"We can not wait for Aaron to help the team close well this season before joining Juventus in the summer."
