Camargo, Tam.- Two days after starting the pilot program of return to face-to-face classes in 10 schools in Tamaulipas, the Ministry of Health issued instructions to the Education in order to suspend the reopening of a school in Camargo, motivated by the detection of a positive case of Covid-19 in this municipality.
Through Coepris, the ¨Josefa Ortiz de Domínguez¨ Primary School will have to wait until new indications, informed its director, Berenice de León Caro.
The teacher pointed out that the notification was received yesterday morning, Saturday, after the Ministry of Health reported on Friday a positive case detected in the municipality.
“In the meantime, we invite you to take care of yourself, wear face masks and avoid mass meetings to help fight this virus, for now we will continue working online as we have done before, as well as with the mailbox service for those who do not have Internet access.”
Parents are being notified to avoid sending their children to school tomorrow, Monday, May 31st. In this way, the list of schools that return to their face-to-face activities was reduced to 10, 9 at the Primary level and 1 at the Secondary level.
