Samuel James (Sam) Thompson
Samuel James Thompson, known lovingly as Sam, peacefully departed this world on January 26, 2025, at the hospital in his hometown of Glenside Park, Drumbo. Sam was a steadfast and adored husband to Beth and a cherished father to Anne, Ian, and Peter. He was also the beloved father-in-law of Julie and Debbie and held a special place in the hearts of his eight grandchildren: Heather, Laura, Michael, Gabriel, Holly, Connie, Ellie, and Rocky.
Viewing and Service Details
Friends and family are warmly invited to gather at Sam’s family home on Tuesday, January 28, from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The family will be present to share cherished memories and offer comfort.
A service of thanksgiving for Sam’s life will be held in Drumbo Presbyterian Church on Wednesday, January 29, at 2:00 PM. After the service, a commitment to the burial ground will take place in the church’s adjoining grounds.
