Ryanair announces 4 international flights from Oradea Airport, …

Oradea Airport will once again have international flights. The management of the directorate announced that starting with July, Ryanair will provide flights to two destinations in Italy and one each in Great Britain and Germany. The resumption of the races had been originally scheduled for February, but was postponed due to the pandemic.

According to the flight schedule transmitted by Oradea Airport, from July 1, on Tuesdays there will be two flights to Milan (Bergamo) and London (Stansted), on Wednesday to Dusseldorf, on Thursday to Bologna, on Saturday to Dusseldorf (Weeze), Milan (Bergamo) and London (Stansted), and on Sunday to Bologna.

Also, according to a post on the Facebook account of Oradea Airport, the purchase of travel tickets can already be done by accessing the company’s website, www.ryanair.com/ro.

Ryanair flights from Oradea Airport were suspended in 2017, the company deciding to resume them in September 2020, following an agreement with the municipality of Oradea, which allocated 800,000 euros in support for their co-financing through a state aid scheme to combat the effects of the pandemic.

Later, however, due to the pandemic, the resumption of flights, originally scheduled for February, was postponed twice, as was the financial support for the airline.
