Russian Orthodox Church urges to ban Till Lindemann concerts due to abortion propaganda

The RCP supported parents who consider it unacceptable to hold concerts of the leader of the Rammstein group in Russian cities. According to public figures, the German musician’s songs glorify hatred of children and abortion.

It became known that the concerts of Rammstein band leader Till Lindemann, planned in Moscow and Novosibirsk, were postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. Now the shows of the famous German are under threat of cancellation. The chairman of the patriarchal commission on family issues, protection of motherhood and childhood of the Russian Orthodox Church, priest Fyodor Lukyanov, asks to ban concerts of the famous metalist in Russia.

Lukyanov said that the commission supported the parent community, which is categorically against Lindemann’s concert program, which is called “I hate children.” According to media reports, the Russian Orthodox Church considers “propaganda of detonation and abortion contained in the texts of this rock artist” unacceptable.

Recall, on January 1, the chairman of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, Alexander Bastrykin, instructed to check the arguments of the activists who spoke out against the Lindemann concert in Novosibirsk on January 26. Social activists note that the artist has repeatedly had problems with the law in Russia because of his scandalous work.
