The gasoline crisis, caused by Ukrainian strokes on oil plants in Russia, is growing at a rapid pace. If at the end of August there was only a deficit in the primacy, the Kurils and the occupied Crimea, in September gasoline is no longer in Ryazan, Nizagorodska, Saratovska, Samarska, Ulyanovska, Rostovska and Astrakhanska regions, as well as in Kalmika and Tatata.
Delivery problems are also observed in the Amur, Magadanska and Sakhalin regions, the Khabarov region, Yakutia, Chukotka and more. This is clear from the data of the independent union of fuel suppliers, which quotes “Notices”.
Particularly difficult is the situation in the occupied territories of Ukraine in Donetsk, Luganska, Zaporozhz regions, where all supplies go to the Russian army, which is also beginning to experience difficulties, writes Radio Freedom. Gasoline is distributed only by coupons, prices have jumped dramatically and there are huge queues in front of gas stations.
The locals resent that they can load only 20 liters, and in some places – 10 liters. Talons are for power structures and military. “There is a quota for strength structures and individual legal entities. Significant problems are observed in Lugansk, Sorokin, Bryanka, etc.,” said the head of the Lugans Regional Military Administration Alexey Kachenko.
“In the beginning, the problem was local, but now we can say that geography is expanding: more and more regions in Russia are confronting the deficit. Not only remote areas, but also the European part of the country is lacking,” says a member of the expert council for competition to the State Duma Dmitry Tortev.

According to the President of the Independent Union of Fuel Suppliers Pavel Bazhenov, the problems with the supply of gasoline AI92 and AI-95 have already led to the closure of a number of independent gas stations. “Some do not agree to work from gasoline to gasoline, others have not been able to receive fuel for a long time. Overall, a very large part of gas stations can no longer receive anything from the non -processing plants,” confirms a member of the Russian Heat Union, Ekaterina Savkina.
As a result of the attacks of Ukrainian drones against Oil Plants, which continued throughout August, Russia lost 17% of its oil refinement facilities or 1.1 million barrels a day, Reuters reports. A number of large factories completely stopped work – the Novokuishevski, the Saratov, the Volgogradski, the Sisranian. In September, the partially stopped the Rida, which provides about 5% of all oil refinement in the country.
The Director of Energy Programs at the Razumkov Center Vladimir Omelchenko notes to the present time that the crisis is also deepened by Russia’s budget problems that have made the gasoline trading unprofitable for the companies. “When the state pays for fuel supply companies to gas stations at ficked prices, they receive compensation from the state budget. And since we have a deficit this year, there is nothing to pay compensation. It is not advantageous for oil companies to supply and sell gas through the gas stations,” he explains.
