The WRC World Rally Championship, interrupted in March by the coronavirus pandemic, will resume in Estonia from September 4 to 6, the WRC promoter and the International Automobile Federation (FIA) announced on Thursday.
The Italian rally, which should have taken place in early June in Sardinia, is rescheduled from October 29 to November 1. Initially postponed, the Argentine rally, initially scheduled for the end of April, is however canceled. The rallies of Turkey (September 24-27), Germany (October 15-18) and Japan (November 19-22) are maintained.
The championship will therefore include at least eight rounds, with the three events (Monte-Carlo, Sweden and Mexico) which took place before the pandemic.
