MEXICO CITY.- The Iztapalapa mayor’s office has already published the call for the scholarships for women over 30 years of age who continue to study.
Through the program Women Studying 2021, the mayor’s office will grant financial support, which will depend on the academic degree they are studying.
The mayor’s office reported that they will handle three types of support; 500 pesos a month will be given to those women who are studying primary school; 600 pesos per month for those in high school and 700 pesos per month for high school students.
The program aims to enable women over 30 years of age to start, continue and / or complete their studies, in order to reduce the educational backwardness.
In addition, women who enroll in the program will not only be supported financially, they will also receive free advice given by teachers, so that they can take the INEA exams, depending on their educational level.
