The registration period for the 31st San Sebastian Horror and Fantasy Film Festival Youth Jury ends this Tuesday. A group of 60 people will choose the work that will win the Youth Award for Best Short Film, and those interested can register on the Donostia Gazteria website.
According to San Sebastián City Council sources, 60 young people selected to take part in the Youth Jury will gather at the Old Theater on October 30 at 4:00 pm to watch and evaluate the short films that will be presented. In total, the session will last three hours.
After the screening, each member of the jury will have to vote, and the Youth Award for Best Short Film of the 31st Week of Fantasy and Horror Film will be decided according to the result. In addition, two people from the jury will be selected to award the prize.
Young people aged 18-30 can take part in the jury, and if there are more applications than 60 places available, those registered in San Sebastián will have priority; if necessary, a draw would be held. After the draw, those selected will have to confirm that they will be performing on October 30; otherwise, the waiting list will be played to complete the jury.
Finally, all members of the jury will have the opportunity to attend some of the performances of the 31st Horror and Fantasy Week. Performances will be announced at the October 30 session.
