The town hall of Redessan has just informed its residents that the Casino supermarket in its town will now be open every Sunday from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. from November 22, but without checkout staff or departments.
“In order to meet the wishes of our customers and to offer the best service, we have decided to retain this store to experiment with the extension of opening hours on Sunday afternoon in self-service, without any staff” announces the management of Casino in a letter addressed to the town hall of Redessan.
Concretely, customers will circulate in the store freely to do their shopping, payment taking place at automatic checkouts. Customers will also be able to pay with their phone and the Casino app. To ensure security, three agents will be present but will not carry out any commercial activity. The sale of alcohol will be prohibited on this niche.
