Recipe: Tail stewed in red wine

Stewed tail is a delicious dish to cook in a slow cooker or crock pot for several hours at low temperature, this to get a soft and juicy meat.

  • 1 veal tail, chopped
  • 2 red onions
  • 1 carrot
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 liter of red wine
  • 1 tablespoon of Extra Virgin olive oil
  • salt to taste


Brown the pieces of tail in a pan with the olive oil to seal them.

We remove the meat and place it in the bottom of the pot.

Brown the chopped vegetables in the same pan and pour it over the meat, add salt, bay leaf and wine; We fill with water until everything is well covered and we program 6 hours in low temperature.
