Analytical project DeepState reports that Russian troops continue to infiltrate the city of Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region, gradually increasing the presence of infantry and expanding sabotage and reconnaissance activities within the populated area.

Details: According to the project, attempts to penetrate the city have been ongoing since July: the enemy was systematically looking for “breakthrough” areas in the defense and increasing pressure with infantry, while simultaneously using drones and fire attacks on the positions and logistics of Ukrainian units.

DeepState indicates that weaknesses were discovered in the area of Zverevo, Shevchenko and along the railway from Kotlino to Pokrovsk.
Project analysts note that “several hundred” opponents have already entered the city, who continue to infiltrate into the depths of Pokrovsk, set up ambushes along the route, mine roads and conduct military operations against rear units (Saport RER/REB, artillery, mortars, etc.). Enemy drone pilots are reported to be stationed on the southern outskirts of the city, intensifying attacks on logistics and unit movements.
DeepState also indicates that the intensity of enemy actions increased after the start of a massive infantry advance, as a result of which the enemy “broke” logistics routes in the direction of Mirnograd and the nearby agglomeration.
Literally: “The worst thing is that the enemy was able to break the logistics in the direction of Mirnograd and the entire agglomeration of the city. In addition to infantry ambushes, enemy drones are actively working, monitoring and carrying out attacks on movements to positions, provisions, and the like. The activity of enemy pilots increased significantly when infantry began to infiltrate the city, and enemy drone pilots are helping to destroy our logistics in order to make it possible to gradually absorb the city.”
Details: Analysts are calling for a focus on blocking infiltration routes and conducting large-scale clean-up operations with brigades rather than small groups to avoid losing control of the city.
Literally: “It is critically necessary to block the enemy’s infiltration routes, which are supposedly being held, and to carry out the clearing with a full-fledged brigade, and not with small groups of special forces, who, unfortunately, will not do anything on their own, and we already have a similar example in another city.
The situation in Pokrovsk is on the verge of critical and continues to deteriorate until it may be too late to fix everything.”
