Plevenon. 51 singers prepare the gospel concerts

Since Saturday and until the end of the week, 51 people gather around the choirmaster, Mark Sweeting, to prepare and rehearse the concerts which will take place on Saturday, at the church of Plévenon and Sunday, in that of Ploubalay.

Trainees work six hours a day to polish the repertoire of traditional gospel songs, such as Hymn to freedom by Oscar Peterson or Deep Rivera great classic of gospel singing, but also of variety like Fame, Eye in the sky or the song Giantperformed by Alain Chamfort.

Upstream, I recorded the four parts of the chants and songs and I sent them by email to each registered participant, as well as the scores explains the choir director.

Saturday, at 8.30 p.m., gospel concert at the church in Plévenon; Sunday, at 8:30 p.m., at the church of Ploubalay. Free attendance.
