- Local rock for the second summer evening in Pau
For the second evening of Summer in Pau, groups supported by local cultural structures were in the spotlight.
At the opening, the Forty Eight Punch took care of the business. And brilliantly. A pure rock sound that everyone agrees. This Pau garage band offers a plunge into the heart of the seventies, proof that rock is stainless, with the frenzied set of this group which deserves new stages.
Followed Miss Bee, used to Summer in Pau and scenes in the region. Its velvety compositions allowed to appreciate the very blues register of a group which collects the rewards, after having been trained in the jam sessions of Show Case Time.
The evening ended with Yes Basketball and a contrasting set, a true crossroads of several influences, all in front of a smaller crowd than the day before.
► This Saturday July 24: 47TER and Achille (rap).
- Entertainment: the park of Berlioz gets the pass
“To demand a health pass when we advocate access to culture for all initially seemed unnatural to us. Limiting access to our meetings to 49 people in a huge park, when we hosted 150 on the last summer evenings, seemed to us just as delicate ”.
This is the debate that haunted MJC Berlioz, which is multiplying the events in July as part of its program L’Été à Berlioz. She finally made the choice to apply the health pass.
