Nvidia has declared a new flagship GPU as part of its RTX 4000 collection of graphics playing cards, the successor to the RTX 3000 collection that introduced two several years back.
The to start with GPU to use Nvidia’s new Ada Lovelace architecture with 3rd Gen DLSS is the GeForce RTX 4090, which contains 24GB of G6X memory, 2x much more than Nvidia’s prior flagship GPU, the RTX 3090 Ti. Claimed to be 4x a lot quicker. The RTX 4090 will be priced at $1599 and will be introduced on October 12th.
The RTX 4080 was also announced and incorporates two memory configurations of 12GB and 16GB. The RTX 4080 is claimed to be 2-4x a lot quicker than the RTX 3080 Ti. No launch date has been exposed for the RTX 4080 GPU, but in accordance to Nvidia, the card is envisioned to be released in November. His RTX 4080 with 12GB of G6X memory retails for $899, though the 16GB variant is $1,199.
During the presentation, Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang thorough the RTX 40’s new graphics architecture. Huang states the Ada architecture will attribute his RTX in its 3rd technology with new functions like authentic-time path tracing and 3rd generation deep understanding supersampling (DLSS). DLSS 3 is reported to be capable to make added frames and improve video game effectiveness by up to 2x.
