Nissarde Cuisine: 10 Years & 200 Recipes Celebrated!

More than a decade of highlighting the recipes for us. In 2025, these were the ten years of the resumption of the “Cuisine Nissard” label. To celebrate the event, let yourself be transported with these animations throughout the year.

They are the guarantors of know-how to the priceless value. Currently, around thirty restaurants are labeled “Nissarde Cuisine”, a distinction heavy with meaning because it gives them a particular label. That of the preservation of a culinary heritage that should be protected from bad imitators.

Under this name, an organization created a quarter of a century ago by the La Capelina d’Or circle is hidden. Its objective, to reward professionals working to enhance the Nice cuisine by committing to respect the recipes, without forgetting the quality of the products and the reception. It is awarded by the Metropolitan Tourist Office, which recovered the torch in 2014.

Over 200 celebrated recipes

More than 200 recipes are included in this large inventory, which makes it one of the tastiest land in the region. And in 2025, the label celebrates the ten years of its recovery. A celebration that will last all year round, with various activities planned for the coming months.

On April 12, for example, a conference on the history of Nice cuisine will be held with the historian Alex Benvenuto, specialist in the question. Free entry to the Raoul Mille library. From April, and until October, you will also find a dish monthly highlighted by the restaurateurs labeled and by the Nice cooking workshop.

Diving in the heart of the Saleya course market

A little sweetness and gluttony until the start of the school year, with guided tours and tastings on the ponchettes terraces. And the demonstration does not stop there, since from June 16 to 20 will be offered a special week in the canteens of Nice. On the menu for young schoolchildren, typically Azurean meals. On September 27, the Festival of Urban Agriculture will be organized.

Conferences between art and gastronomy

The conclusion of the festivities is expected for October, with two dates to remember, conferences on October 10 and 14. The first will take place at the Roman Library Gary and will have the subject “Paintings and writers… A culinary love“The second is scheduled at the Center for Arts and Culture with Alex Benvenuto and the dietician Marjorie Dessauvages, and is entitled”Benefits and flavors of Nice cuisine“. Two free events open to everyone.
