Nine new COVID-19 infections in Ottawa | Coronavirus: Ontario

With nine new COVID-19 infections in Ottawa on Sunday, the number of confirmed cases since the start of the health crisis has risen to 27,650.

Ottawa Public Health (OPH) shows a stable death toll from COVID-19, standing at 591.

At the moment, 106 people are still suffering from the disease, according to SPO.

Among them, six are hospitalized, including one in intensive care.

Provincially, Ontario is reporting 287 new cases of COVID-19 and 12 additional deaths on Sunday.

Four million Ontarians are now fully immunized.

In Quebec, public health no longer publishes a daily report on Saturdays and Sundays. The Outaouais Integrated Health and Social Services Center (CISSS) is following the same pace.

New COVID-19 infections confirmed over the weekend will therefore be included in Monday’s update.
