The Swedish Grammys Dedicate Tribute Video to Avicii – EDM.com

The land of the late musician honors him in a beautiful way.

Earlier this February, the Swedish Grammy & # 39; s (also known as Grammisgalan) released an emotional tribute video in honor of Tim Berling, whose music included Avicii was met with one year, worldwide praise. Avicii's father Klaus Bergling received an honorary medal on his behalf and the tribute video released by the Grammisgalan moves fans around the world.

With Bergling & # 39; s own music, especially one of his most recognizable hits "Levels", the 3-minute, heart-warming video shows his international existence, as well as fellow musicians such as Steve Aoki and Tiësto pay him respect.

Tim Bergling died tragically in Muscat, Oman in April 2018. The cause of his death was speculated as suicide. Bergling suffered from depression, drug and alcohol abuse and had stopped performing shows since 2016 after his touring life had tempered his mental health. His melodic, pop-influenced sound and his enormous songwriting capacity won millions of hearts in the last decade, and contributed to the demonstrably transcending of electronic music to new heights.
