The leader of Sena pointed to the descendants of Shivaji about the comparison with Modi. Your turn

The leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Udayanraje Bhosale, a descendant of Shivaji, criticized Shiv Sena and the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) on Tuesday for “abusing” the name of the warrior king Maratha.

Udayanraje Bhosale, who represented Satara in the Lok Sabha, was talking to reporters after a controversy over a book comparing Prime Minister Narendra Modi with King Maratha of the seventeenth century that broke out over the weekend.

Congress had said it would organize protests in Maharashtra on Tuesday and the PNC demanded the immediate withdrawal of the book. And the Seine had said that the BJP should ban the distribution of the book and officially announce that it has no links to the publication of the book.

The BJP announced on Monday the withdrawal of “Aaj Ke Shivaji – Narendra Modi” – written by one of its officials Jai Bhagwan Goyal, a former Sena activist in Delhi after the uproar of the ruling Maharashtra parties, the Seine, the Congress and the PCN.

Bhosale accused those who oppose the book, including Sena and NCP, of double speech and said they raise no objection when NCP President Sharad Pawar is called “Janata Raja,” a title used exclusively for Shivaji in Maharashtra.

“Did Shiv Sena ask the descendants when he used the name of Shivaji in the game title? Sena has named the vada pav scheme in honor of Shivaji, which is an insult to the name of the warrior king. Several parties have not only abused the name of Shivaji, but have insulted the king in several ways, “Bhosale said.

The leader of the Seine and member of Rajya Sabha, Sanjay Raut, had also asked Udayanraje Bhosale and Shivendraraje Bhosale, another descendant of Shivaji, to resign on the subject.

“The descendants of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, who occupy the headquarters of Satara and Kolhapur, are in the BJP. Some are parliamentarians, others are MLA and others are former MLA. We ask you to adopt a position on the comparison of Maharaj with the political leaders. What’s wrong with that? “Raut asked.

“The common people fight for the respect of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, and we will do it. But you are descendants of Shivaji Maharaj and the greatest responsibility lies with you. You should have given up immediately, ”he said.

Udayanraje Bhosale was defeated during the recent Lok Sabha polls, which were necessary after he resigned as a deputy and joined the BJP.
