A source told People earlier this week: “ He reached the point where he didn’t feel great. I knew I had to change something, because I want to be the healthiest mother possible.
“ His whole focus during the weight loss journey has really focused on how he can be healthier and how he can best treat his body. He never tried to lose weight.

WHAT IS THE SIRTFOOD DIET?
The Sirtfood diet is based on sirtuins (SIRT), a group of seven proteins.
It focuses on plant foods that help suppress appetite and activate the ‘skinny gene’ of the body.
Diet followers go through two diet cycles that last three weeks.
Recommended Sirtfoods include: kale, red wine, strawberries, onions, soy and dark chocolate (85% cocoa)
The diet has been criticized for not providing any long-term benefits.
In October, Adele joked that she used to ‘cry but now I sweat’ in an Instagram post, when details of her revised fitness regimen emerged.
It is understood that its great transformation has been the result of reforming pilates, the use of weights in the gym, the reduction of sugar and also the monitoring of the Sirtfood diet.
The regimen focuses on plant foods, such as kale and buckwheat, which help suppress appetite and activate the body’s ‘skinny gene’.
The creators of the diet claim that following the Sirtfood diet will lead to rapid weight loss, all while maintaining muscle mass and protecting against chronic diseases.
Diet supporters go through two diet cycles that last three weeks, following specific recipes and plans, and then they are encouraged to continue adding as much Sirt food as possible to their food.
However, Healthline reports that, although the low-calorie diet can initiate weight loss, it is too short to have a long-term impact on health.
Speaking in June, the sources told The Sun that their new training regime has given the vocal talent a ‘new life opportunity’ after their separation from former husband Simon Konecki, with whom he shares his son Angelo.
Adele confirmed his separation from Simon in April, earlier this year, and filed for divorce in September
The vocal power and Simon began dating in 2011 and welcomed their son the following year, before marrying four years later.

In 2015, Adele revealed that she had changed to a healthier lifestyle to keep her voice in good condition.
When talking about the weight loss that accompanied his diet review, he told Daily Life magazine that his new figure was the result of a “boring” diet and gymnastics sessions.
He admitted that he had eliminated alcohol, cigarettes and caffeine, as well as “spicy, citrus and spicy” foods, and is now a fan of milkshakes.
“It’s fucking boring, but I don’t think you take your voice seriously until you have an accident,” he said, referring to his vocal hemorrhage in 2011. “I’m scared all the time I’m going to damage my voice.”
Adele continued to say after 60 minutes from Australia: “ They have always asked me questions about my body, my weight, my size, my style and things like that.
“And I totally understand … It’s a bit annoying that men don’t ask that question so much.”
She continued: “ But other than that, it seemed to amaze people who were bigger and more successful, that’s how I felt.
‘I don’t make music for the eyes, I make music for the ears … I don’t care anyway. You don’t see music, you listen to music, so what does it matter?
