FORT GREENE / PROSPECT HEIGHTS – The summer is in full swing with tons of outdoor activities around the neighborhood, including a couple of events this weekend at Barclays Center and Atlantic Terminal Mall.
Starting from this Friday 21 June, Barclays Center will host a series of free musical performances at the Plaza in front of the stadium. The brand new one Summer sessions series will present shows from a varied mix of local and emerging artists. See the program below.

Each Summer Sessions show is free and takes place from 16:00 to 19:00. The series will also feature a selection of food trucks in each show, offering snacks and non-alcoholic beverages for purchase.

Over it Saturday 22 June, head to the Atlantic Terminal Plaza (139 Flatbush Avenue) from 1pm to 3pm for FamilyFest, with a community wall painting event, music and dance, circus arts workshops, basketball and pop-a-shot chess games, immersive virtual reality, giveaways, food trucks and more.
The Museum of Contemporary Diasporan Arts (MoCADA) invites the community to collaborate with Brooklyn artist Patrick Dougher while painting Soul of Brooklyn, an original mural that will be permanently exhibited in the Atlantic Terminal building.
