Warning: there are spoilers for "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse" later.
If you're looking for the well-reviewed & # 39; Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse & # 39; this weekend from Sony Pictures Animation, prepare yourself for a Stan Lee cameo that might make you emotional.
The former president and chairman of Marvel Comics has made appearances in more than 50 Marvel titles ranging from & # 39; X-Men & # 39; to & # 39; Deadpool 2 & # 39 ;. "Spider-Verse" is Lee & # 39; s first Marvel cameo after his death at the age of 95 in November.
Lee & # 39; s animated appearance appears early in the December movie.
After the death of the original Spider-Man, Peter Parker (voiced by Chris Pine), Miles Morales goes to a store to buy a costume in his honor. Morales recently discovered that he also has similar capabilities to Spider-Man after being seized by a radioactive spin.
When he goes to buy the suit, the cashier is none other than an animated Stan Lee.
It is the rule that he says that may choke you.
"I'm going to miss him," Lee tells Miles. "We were friends."
He talks about Spider-Man, but he could just as easily refer to how the public feels about Lee, knowing that this will be one of the last times we see him in a camel from Marvel.

Miles asks him what happens if the suit does not fit. Lee then says that it always fits before a sign is displayed on the wall with the text: "No exchanges or refunds."
The film also ends with a quote from Lee.
"That person who helps others, simply because it must or must be done, and because it is right to do so, is without a doubt a true superhero."

His cameo is extra special not only because it is his first Marvel cameo after his death, but because Lee has made Spider-Man together with artist Steve Ditko.
