the National weather service says the storms with "harmful gusts and hail will be possible from Georgia and eastern Tennessee to the northeast the Carolinas to the southeast of Virginia on Mondays, as well as in the North Mississippi and West Alabama".
"Spring has arrived and bad weather has arrived," said CNN meteorologist Pedram Javaheri.
Javaheri said parts of Mississippi, parts of Georgia, including Atlanta, as well as Charlotte, Richmond and Raleigh can be affected by storms.
He also warned of a flood risk expected due to heavy rain in the already saturated valley of the Mississippi River.
It is expected later in the week another storm system from the Rockies and throw snow off Colorado towards the Great Lakes.
The storm could bring snowstorm on parts of Upper Plains from Wednesday to Thursday, said the coast of CNN Golf Geometry Michael Guy.
Along with this storm system there is one drastic wave of temperatures in the north of the country it goes until the end of the week from 10 to 20 degrees above normal to 15 to 20 degrees below normal, Guy said.
