Rhein-Main – Eleven arrests during anti-terror raid – Politics

The alleged Salafists are said to have prepared an attack with a vehicle and firearms. They apparently wanted to kill as many "infidels" as possible.

In an anti-terror raid in Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate, officials of the Hessian State Criminal Police Office arrested eleven suspects on Friday.

The main suspects are two 31-year-old brothers from Wiesbaden and a 21-year-old from Offenbach, as the prosecutor in Frankfurt am Main further informed. According to recent findings, the suspects have jointly agreed to commit an "Islamist-terrorist-motivated attack" while killing as many "infidels" as possible.

On the searches and arrests in Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate on Friday about 200 police officers were involved, including special forces.
