In an anti-terror raid in Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate, officials of the Hessian State Criminal Police Office arrested eleven suspects on Friday.
The main suspects are two 31-year-old brothers from Wiesbaden and a 21-year-old from Offenbach, as the prosecutor in Frankfurt am Main further informed. According to recent findings, the suspects have jointly agreed to commit an "Islamist-terrorist-motivated attack" while killing as many "infidels" as possible.
On the searches and arrests in Hesse and Rhineland-Palatinate on Friday about 200 police officers were involved, including special forces.
