OU Travels to Two Meets This Weekend – Soonersports.com

NORMAN – For the first of two times this indoor season, the Oklahoma athletics team will send student athletes to two separate competitions this weekend.

The majority of the Sooners will participate in the Dr. Sander Invitational / Columbia Challenge, while the rest of the team will compete for the Texas Tech Classic and Multis in Lubbock, Texas.

The meeting in New York City starts at 11:30 am CET on Friday, January 25 and the action on day one includes the obstacles of 60 meters, 60 meters dashes, long jumps and shots. The meeting will take place on Saturday 26 January, with the remaining events starting at 9:00 am CT.

The Texas Tech Classic and Multis will start CT with the heptathlon on Thursday 24 January at 12.00 hrs. Six Sooners will play in the pole vault for ladies on Friday afternoon, while Madison Langley-Walker will compete in the pentathlon and Kristo Simulask in the heptathlon.

The live results of the Columbia Challenge are available via AthleticLIVE, while the live results of the Texas Tech Classic and Multis are available via PTTiming. The final results of both meetings can be found on SoonerSports.com after the events.

The Sooners organize the J.D. Martin Invitational on February 2, their second indoor meeting at home of the season. The meeting starts at 10.00 in the Mosier Indoor Facility with the weight of the women and staggered. Access is free.
