MLB Hot Stove: Mike Moustakas coming back to Brewers 'looks inevitable', says the report | MLB

Mike Moustakas could return to Milwaukee.

The 30-year-old free agent who returns from the Brewers "seems inevitable," according to a report by The Athletic. Milwaukee could move Travis Shaw into second base this season if he reprograms Moustakas, the report says.

Moustakas started the 2018 with the Royals, but was sent to the Brewers at the trade deadline in exchange for two minor leagues.

The two-time All-Star cut the .251 / .315 / .459 in 152 total games in 2018. He also hit 28 home runs and totaled 95 RBIs.

The Brewers finished last season with a 96-67 record and advanced to the NLCS, where they fell to the Dodgers in seven games.
