Monster Mash, a winning son of Ghostzapper and from the family of champion Sacahuista, is retired to study at Bybee Road Farm south of Charles Town, W.Va.
The 10-year-old stallion rode from 3 to 9 on 14 racing tracks and compiled a 14-6-3 record from 47 starts. He stopped with $ 343,492 in revenue.
"I claimed he would make him a stallion because his pedigree is super, and he was fast," said Dennis Bybee. "He looks a lot like his father."
Monster Mash hit a career high Equibase Speed Rating of 113 when he won a race of $ 67,000 at the Saratoga racetrack in 2015, with seven stages in 1: 22.51. He compared or surpassed a 100 ESF in seven other races.
