Four people are dead and another has sustained life-threatening injuries after a frontal truck accident at Meridian on Friday night, the Sheriff of the Ada province said in a tweet.
The accident happened just after 19.30.
A Ford F-250 truck drove east on West Cherry Lane and collided with a Nissan Titan truck that was heading in the opposite direction and pulling a trailer. Officials said they did not yet know which truck had been traversed in the lane of the other.
The driver of the Ford F-250, an adult male, died on the spot. Three adult male passengers in the Nissan Titan died on the spot; a fourth was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

The speed limit in the area where the accident occurred is 40 miles per hour, said spokesman Patrick Orr, spokesman for Sheriff County County. Orr also said that he currently does not believe that it played a role in the crash again.
West Cherry Lane west of Black Cat Road was closed because of the crash, said the sheriff's office.
