Association Launches Fundraising for Victims of Cyberbullying

Towards a first goal of 20,000 euros for March 8, international day of women's rights. The Women's Foundation has launched a fundraiser "to support victims of cyberstalking", after the avalanche of testimonials that emerged in recent days on the "LOL league" and its members, journalists, advertisers and graphic designers .

This fundraising aims "to finance the costs related to the procedures", which "very often constitute an obstacle to the justice for the victims of cyberstalking", explains the Foundation of the women in a communiqué, which adds that with 20.000 euros, « some twenty victims "could" be accompanied serenely ".

Several layoffs

"League of LOL", gathering about thirty journalists and communication professionals, accused of having harassed other journalists and bloggers, especially women and feminist activists, in the middle of the Parisian Twitter.

Several victims have testified on social networks and at least three journalists from Release and Inrocks,
members of this "League of LOL", were laid off "as a precautionary" Monday.
