NUTTER FORT – Owners of the Westhouse Applehouse CBD Hemp Store on Friday hosted a grand opening event at their Nutter Fort store.
Sisters and co-owners Bekka Roth and Shauna Knapp were accompanied by family, friends, municipal officials and staff from the Harrison County Chamber of Commerce for a ribbon cutting ceremony for the store.
The CBD specialty store offers CBD education and a variety of products from countless brands, including organically grown and West Virginia-made options.
A soft opening took place in November.
According to Roth, the Applehouse CBD franchise originated in California.
"We found out that we jumped aboard to bring this to the local area because there aren't many places where you can get the CBD oil," she said.
"I am grateful that they have chosen Nutter Fort. I hope they will continue to do well. It is an attractive store," said Nutter Fort Mayor Sam Maxson.
The store is located next to Rite-Aid and opposite the Gomart in Nutter Fort on 2407 Buckhannon Pike. The telephone number of the store is 304-969-9413.
