Edouard Philippe judges "responsible" the decision to resign taken by the mayor of
Havre, Luc Lemonnier, said
Matignon this Friday, in full controversy related to the dissemination of photos of the elected naked by a woman who claims to be a victim. In addition, a relative of the Prime Minister said that he had made a return trip to Le Havre the day before.

Luc Lemonnier (formerly LR) had replaced in May 2017 the current Prime Minister Edouard Philippe, whom he is close, at the head of the port city of more than 170,000 inhabitants. He announced Thursday his resignation to "protect his family" against a backdrop of controversy related to the dissemination of photos of him naked by a woman who claims to be a victim of the ailing.
