New York Airport: Passenger takes alive cat in suitcase – panorama

At the New York airport, security personnel discovered a live cat in a suitcase. What the passenger said about it.

I pack my suitcase and take with me: a cat. A passenger at the airport in New York found this absurd idea quite conclusive. He put the living four-legged friend in his luggage – and was caught by the security staff.

The orange animal was in a closed suitcase that the passenger checked in at John F. Kennedy Airport before his trip, a spokeswoman for the US Traffic Safety Authority TSA told the German Press Agency.

The cat was discovered in the luggage scanner and taken out before the suitcase was loaded onto the plane. The animal was in good condition and is now safe in its home. The passenger stated that the cat belonged to someone else in his household. No punishment awaits him.
