Denmark opened on Thursday for travel to and from all Swedish regions, but Norway will not do the same, says Minister of Health Bent Høie (H) at Friday’s press conference.

– We are very happy that the number of infected is going down with our neighbors in the east, and that means that we can hopefully open more Swedish regions next week, says Høie.

He also says that the government will not open for regional assessments of countries outside the Nordic region immediately. Thorough assessments must be made before countries outside Europe are opened.

– Even though we can travel to different countries, this must not be seen as an encouragement to travel abroad, Høie emphasizes.
