Near Saumur. The Amarillis ensemble resumes concerts by the Abbaye de Fontevraud

After long months away from the stage and the public, the Amarillis ensemble, under the artistic direction of Héloïse Gaillard, resumes concerts in the region. Amarillis is a baroque music ensemble with variable geometry, whose artistic direction is provided by flautist and oboist Héloïse Gaillard.

The ensemble offers a variety of programs in the form of vocal recitals, specifically instrumental formations or staged projects crossed with other musical or artistic sensibilities.

Friday June 18, at 8 pm, at the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud, “Jubilation Vénitienne”, where the Amarillis ensemble performs with the Maîtrise des Pays de la Loire.

Saturday June 19, at 2:30 p.m., as part of the Cunault Musical Hours, concert with the Saumurois music schools in the Romanesque church of Trèves. Between 3.45 p.m. and 4.30 p.m., Musical walk on the banks of the Loire, from the church of Trèves to the Prieurale de Cunault.

Tuesday June 22, at 8 pm, at the Théâtre Le Dôme in Saumur, “Tafelmusik”, a musical show by Georg Philipp Telemann & Michel Richard Delalande.

Other concerts will also be scheduled for the summer season.

A next album

Amarillis and the Maîtrise des Pays de la Loire formalized their collaboration from February 11 to 16, 2021 with the recording of the Jubilation Vénitienne program at the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud. This album will be the first recording of the new Abbey label and will be released in the fall of 2021.
