In his statement on the social media platform of the US-based company X, NASA Director Jared Isaacman announced that astronauts will be able to fly with their latest model smartphones in this month’s Crew-12 and March’s Artemis II missions.
“We provide our teams with the tools to capture special moments for their families and share inspiring images with the world,” Isaacman said. He described this step as “a small step in the right direction”.
