“Nakheel”, affiliated with “Dubai Holding Real Estate”, has announced the awarding of contracts worth over 750 million dirhams for infrastructure work on the “Nakhla Jabal Ali” project, with completion expected in the last quarter of 2026.

These contracts represent a significant milestone in the development of this waterfront destination. “DB Contracting” has been selected, building on their previous work on “Palm Jebel Ali”, which included constructing a public road and a road dedicated to construction.

The “Palm jebel Ali” project aims to set a new benchmark for waterfront living, providing modern amenities and supporting Dubai’s economic growth, aligning with the Dubai economic Agenda (D33). It is envisioned as a new phase of urban expansion in the Jebel Ali area, inspired by His Highness Sheikh mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum’s vision to establish Dubai as the world’s best city to live, work, and visit.

Infrastructure Details and Scope of Work

“The huge” Palm Jebel Ali “project embodies the ambition of Dubai in redefining the concept and luxurious living pattern on the global waterfront.”

The infrastructure works encompass facilities connections,excavation,backfilling,road and sidewalk construction,and utilities for the 11 kV energy distribution line and communications. The central area’s infrastructure will include main facilities extensions, connections to the fronds, and the construction of major and subsidiary roads. The project also involves land settlement and preparation for the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (Dewa) electricity line serving “Palm Jebel Ali”.

The “Palm Jebel Ali” islands will span 13.4 km, featuring 16 curves and a 90 km beach, aligning with the “Dubai Urban Plan 2040” to enhance access to public beaches.

The development aims to establish a new standard for high-end waterfront living with mixed-use urban neighborhoods featuring housing, entertainment, and retail spaces designed for pedestrians and offering views of the Persian Gulf.residents and visitors can expect various entertainment areas, supported by a smart and environmentally kind infrastructure and a sophisticated transportation network.
