Musical instruments will be heard again! In this second phase of deconfinement, the Music Festival may well take place this year at Magnifying glass, where several meetings are offered in different neighborhoods to get together for life “according to covid” and celebrate music …

The teaching team and Gilles Allard, the director of the Municipal School of Music are pleased to announce a series of mini-concerts throughout the week of June 14 to 21, 2021 in different districts of the City.

“Suggest something every day”

The program will take place over several days in the form of free outdoor mini-concerts (seated audience – respect for distances). A particularly complex edition to organize given the Covid-19, “The goal is to offer something every day and to distribute our music to as many people as possible, including at the retirement home and at the exit of the train” explains Gilles Allard.

The 200 musicians of the school will be mobilized for this event which revives the traditional popular festivities of the past years.
