Municipal Innovation Sites Showcasing Educational Initiatives in Ulan-Ude

Today in the Yubileiny park of Ulan-Ude, municipal innovation sites will be presented.

At seven sites, teachers from various educational institutions of the city share their experience on how to develop children’s talents, conduct career guidance, patriotic education, and much more, the mayor’s office reports.

The venues operate within the framework of the August conference of pedagogical workers “Capital Education: Values ​​of Our Time”, which takes place in Ulan-Ude.

33 municipal innovation sites (MIP) present their projects and programs – kindergartens, schools, art houses and additional education centers.

The directions of SIEs are very diverse: cooperation with vocational education institutions, development of engineering and technical circles, creation of an electronic educational environment of the city, inclusive education, and others.

Here, as part of the event, a flash mob “Day of the Flag of Russia” was held, three thematic sites are operating with a presentation of the regional branches of the movement of children and youth “Movement of the First”.

There is an information exhibition about extracurricular activities “Conversations about the important”, a master class on disassembling and assembling the machine is being held. Also, the pupils of the children’s camp “Spark” will arrange a patriotic flash mob, which will be a bright end to the event.

The programs of the sites are evaluated by a commission of experts, deputies of the City Council, teachers, members of public organizations and others. The best municipal sites will receive monetary certificates.

In 2020, the mayor of the city, Igor Shutenkov, supported the initiative of the education committee in terms of granting the status of a municipal innovation platform to educational organizations implementing important projects needed by the city.

Tomorrow, August 23, the Bestuzhev Russian Drama Theater will host the plenary session of the August conference of pedagogical workers in Ulan-Ude.
