A lady was rescued from the Lee River and taken to hospital this evening immediately after her auto entered the waters outdoors the metropolis of Cork.
The woman’s automobile entered the river at Brown Island in close proximity to Carrigtwohill, Co Cork, at 5pm on Thursday.
A law enforcement spokesman advised The Echo that law enforcement experienced been to the scene and a woman in her 60s had been rescued from the water.
The girl was taken to Cork College Hospital, exactly where she was getting dealt with on Thursday night time with non-life-threatening disorders, the spokesman claimed.
