Country music star Morgan Wallen’s recent performance at Gillette Stadium as part of his “I’m The Problem Tour” has landed him in hot water with the town of Foxboro. The concert went past the town’s curfew, leading to a financial penalty.

A spokesperson for the town of Foxboro confirmed the violation, stating, “the Morgan Wallen concert on Friday night is being fined for exceeding the curfew, and his team is aware of this.”

According to the spokesperson, “The curfew was set for 11:30 p.m., but the last song began at 11:44 p.m.- 14 minutes past the cutoff.” The fine amounts to “$0.25 per attendee, which totaled $15,705.”

This isn’t the first time a major artist has run afoul of Foxboro’s curfew. In 2016, Bruce Springsteen’s exceptionally long show ended at 11:54 p.m., resulting in a $22,429 fine.

Celebrity Appearances Highlight the Show

Despite the curfew controversy, Wallen’s concert featured some memorable moments, including an appearance by New England Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel. “I don’t know if I was that nervous,” Vrabel told reporters on Monday about walking out with Wallen. “Wasn’t like I had to sing or anything.I just had to not trip or tackle him.” Wallen shared the moment on social media with the caption, “Put me in coach.”

The following night, Patriots legend Rob Gronkowski joined Wallen on stage. Gronkowski sported a “617 Boston Strong” Pats jersey and his Super Bowl rings. Wallen than tossed a Patriots-themed guitar to Gronk,who proceeded to “Gronk-spike” it,recreating his iconic touchdown festivity.

Miranda Lambert, Corey Kent, and Zach John King also performed as part of Wallen’s “I’m The Problem Tour.”
