On the eve of Olonkho Day in Yakutia on November 24, olonkhosuts, osuokhai singers and blacksmiths – the keepers of the traditional culture of the republic – were issued certificates for the appointment of scholarships from the head of the republic in the amount of 30 thousand rubles a month.
Scholarships were awarded to seven olonkhosuts, seven osuokhai singers and seven blacksmiths for merits in the revival, preservation and dissemination of the Yakut heroic epic Olonkho, traditional culture, blacksmithing, active participation in the public life of the republic, familiarizing children and youth with the traditional cultural heritage of the peoples of the republic.
Of the olonkhosut scholarships of the head of Yakutia, Arkady Zakharov (Megino-Kangalassky ulus), Vasily Ivanov – Chille5e (Nyurbinsky ulus), Valentin Isakov (Ust-Maysky district), Kirill Nikiforov (Verkhnevilyuisky ulus), Nikolai Tarasov (Churapchinsky ulus), Nikandr Timofeev ( Suntarsky ulus), Pyotr Tikhonov (Megino-Kangalassky ulus).
Certificates on the appointment of scholarships of the head of Yakutia from the hands of Il Darkhan received the leaders of the osuokhay Afanasy Alekseev (Vilyuisky ulus), Maria Viktorova (Churapchinsky ulus), Mikhail Evseev – Kurahaai Meheele (Suntarsky ulus), Anatoly Krivoshapkin (Yakutsk), Praskovya Moskarova (Verkhnevilyuisky ulus) ), Egor Osipov (Olekminsky district), Semyon Chernogradsky (Ust-Aldansky ulus)
From the blacksmiths of the republic, Arian Afanasyev (Nyurbinsky ulus), Vasily Gerasimov (Namsky ulus), Alexander Danilov (Khangalassky ulus), Prokopiy Ilyin (Namsky ulus), Egor Tumusov (Verkhnevilyuisky ulus), Alexander Mikhailov (Namsky ulus) were awarded scholarships from the head of Yakutia.
For special merits in the development of blacksmithing, a life-long scholarship from the head of Yakutia was awarded to the famous blacksmith, folk master Boris Neustroev-Mandar Uus (Tattinsky ulus).
In his speech, the laureate of the State Prize of the Republic named after. Platon Oyunsky, Academician of the Academy of Spirituality of the RS(Y), Honored Worker of Culture of the RS(Y) Boris Neustroev – Mandar Uus thanked the head of Yakutia Aisen Nikolaev for his great attention to the issue of preserving and developing traditional cultural heritage. Boris Fedorovich wished that the works of folk masters, the work of olonkhosuts, the singing of osuokhai would bring good and benefit to people. Before his fellow blacksmiths, Mandar Uus set the task of smelting special Yakut iron and making it a brand of the republic.
Recall that the Decree on the creation of a unified system of Olonkho houses and the establishment of scholarships for the keepers of the traditional cultural heritage was signed by the head of Yakutia, Aisen Nikolaev, in June this year.
In accordance with the decree, the state budget of the republic will annually provide for budget allocations for the payment of subsidies for the implementation of creative projects and strengthening the material and technical base of Olonkho houses in the amount of at least 50 million rubles annually, as well as 7 million 560 thousand rubles for the payment of monthly scholarships.
