A multi-vehicle accident involving four passenger cars occurred near the village of Blagovo. Emergency services transported four individuals to a local Montana hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash. The incident led to the implementation of single-lane traffic control on the Montana – Sofia road in the Blagovo area, managed by Road Police personnel.

Truck collision on International Route E-79

In a separate incident, a collision involving two heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) took place at approximately 3:00 PM near the village of Smolyanovtsi, along the E-79 international route. The trucks involved were of Turkish and Bulgarian origin. The driver of the Bulgarian truck was hospitalized due to injuries incurred in the crash.

Authorities temporarily restricted traffic on the Montana-Vidin road, specifically in the Smolyanovtsi-Belotintsi section, in both directions. A detour was established, guiding traffic through Montana-Studena Buche-Dr. Yosifovo-Slavotin-Smirnenski-Dabova neighborhood-Drenovets-Belo Pole-Ruzhintsi.
